נימוקי השופטים בבחירת המופע כזוכה בתחרות ״חתול רחוב״:
״עבודה אמיצה ורלוונטית, שמביאה דיאלוג פורה בין תיאטרון רחוב ומחול מזרחי, בוירטואוזיות, חן, מקצועיות ומחשבה מחוץ לקופסא, שמתגבשת לכדי סיפור שלם ששובה את לב הקהל״.
המופע הוצג בניו יורק ובבוסטון ,תיאטרון יפו, הורה ירושלים, פסטיבל יערות מנשה, על במות, ברחובות, ביער ובסלון הביתי.

A homeless woman finds in the dumpster a box that once belonged to a bellydancer!
A transparent woman transforms in front of the audience into a powerful woman, a glamorous version of herself!
The story is told without any words, only through the language of bellydance and physical theater.
In a human, accessible, full of humor and moving way, the show portrays an interesting angle of stereotypes, femininity and cultures.
The show Dance Box suites the outdoors or an indoor space, small or big.
It is 30 minute long but can be shortened or stretched.
The show won first place in Bat-Yam international street festival 2018 in Israel.
The judges of the competition wrote:
“a brave and relevant work, that brings a fertile dialogue between street theater and bellydance, with virtuosity, grace, professionalism and an out of the box thinking, that becomes a rounded story which captivate the audience heart”.
